MediaNet is pleased to present experiement, a program for adventurous filmmakers to meet and produce short films that expand their horizions and push the boundaries of form and content.

The program will take place over 3 weeks in May 2010. Works produced through the program will be shown in a variety of ways. There will be a special public screening, and they will be shown over the internet.

7 PM - Experimental Film from the Beat Generation with
Peter Sandmark - (Open to the public - Location TBA)

Sat May 15
1 PM - Rick and Suzy Raxlen - Drawing on Film

Sunday May 16
1 PM Dave Partitt - Collecting and Experimenting with Sound

Monday May 31
7 PM Screening of works created in the program at the Victoria Event Centre - 1415 Broad (open to the Public)

(MediaNet equipment and tech support will be prioritized for EXPERIMENT participants with some equipment reserved for members)

Filmmakers may work in teams or as individuals. Each filmmaker will be eligible for support for one film. (or, a team of 3 could make up to 3 films in the program). Cost per filmmaker will be $150 (current MediaNet producer members - $125)
